Designing and Embedding Digital Practice
Online meetings and collaborative workspaces have long been part of everyday working life. However, technical infrastructure alone is not enough to create effective digital spaces for exchanging information, learning, connecting or knowledge management.
For collaborative online processes to succeed, they require clear structures and protocols, low barriers to participation, support for participants, engaging facilitation, and a strong link to existing ways of working. RADI sets up online collaborative workspaces and supports their use so that they are effective, inclusive and secure.
What RADI offers
We combine solid IT expertise and experience in knowledge management with methods from process facilitation and organizational development. Our guiding principle when using digital tools is: “As much as necessary, as little as possible.” We meet people where they are, tailor solutions to their needs and lower the threshold to participation. Our goal is to design digital spaces that facilitate communication, increase transparency, support knowledge management and enable collaboration – even across national, linguistic and cultural boundaries.
As a consulting network that works almost entirely remotely, we have invested significant time and energy in establishing online collaboration that builds authentic and effective exchange – expertise we are keen to pass on. At the same time, we think beyond the online platform itself: how can digital spaces be meaningfully integrated into broader communication and learning strategies and sustainably embedded into the existing workflow?
Working With Us
The consultancy process begins with the selection and implementation of suitable tools or platforms – with a focus on data sovereignty and open-source solutions. We analyze the different needs of those involved, collaboratively develop guidelines for online working practices, and guide organizations in participatory processes to create tailored work structures.
RADI supports organizations in the design, installation, rollout and ongoing maintenance of online collaboration platforms. We encourage uptake and build confidence through practical training, accessible training materials and/or individual assistance. Even after the platform’s launch, we remain available – for workshop facilitation, support or ad hoc consulting.
